What brings executives from Fortune 500 companies together in the Jiaxing Economic Development Zone?

On the morning of October 25, Tragot (Jiaxing) Materials Technology Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to mark the launch of its project and the opening of the Zhuochuang R&D Center. Numerous upstream and downstream companies in the life and health industry chain, including Mars and McCormick, attended to experience this brand-new modern facility firsthand.

As a global leader in the rigid plastic packaging industry, Tragot (Jiaxing) Materials Technology Co., Ltd. was established in March 2019 with investment from Yongtai (Hong Kong) High-Tech Co., Ltd.

The company is located within the Advanced Manufacturing Industrial Base of the Economic Development Zone, covering an area of 108 acres with a total investment of $65 million. Its main business focuses on the production and sales of new material packaging for food, pharmaceuticals, and electronic products. Mars Chocolate and Nestlé Ice Cream are among its partners, with much of the packaging for these renowned snack brands supplied by Tragot.

Its establishment also provides industrial support for high-end food processing companies in the Jiaxing Economic Development Zone and aids in attracting internationally renowned food projects. This contributes positively to the clustering of high-end food processing industries across the zone.

Inside this brand-new, modern factory, the 100,000-level clean rooms and automated production equipment reflect the company’s commitment to safety and efficiency in every detail. The facility is equipped with a high-standard clean manufacturing environment, an enhanced quality system, and specialized microbiology and physical laboratories. Centered around "green and low-carbon" principles, the entire factory has also earned LEED Silver certification.

In the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry, Tragot partners with the global top five companies in each category. Its position as an industry leader is built on a commitment to excellence, consistently refining its expertise in specialized market segments.

Notably, with the new factory now operational, the Zhuochuang R&D Center has officially launched. This center will focus on serving Tragot's customers in East, North, Northwest, and Southwest China, providing comprehensive support in new product application technologies and automation equipment solutions. Tailored to meet diverse customer needs, it will offer a wider range of product packaging solutions.

Zhuogao Tai's founder, Lin Zhuohui, shared, "Packaging may be a traditional industry, but Zhuogao Tai employs the world's most advanced manufacturing equipment and high-cleanliness production environments. In R&D, we hold 62 patents, including invention, utility, and design patents. Our innovations in high-barrier materials, anti-counterfeit and anti-theft, and explosion and leakage prevention technologies are at the forefront both domestically and internationally."

"Going forward, Tragot will continue to focus on our core business, staying true to our vision: to pursue excellence, achieve harmonious development, and manufacture high-value, elegant, and eco-friendly products, positioning ourselves as a top global packaging company." Lin added that he plans to establish more projects in the thriving Jiaxing Economic Development Zone, gradually turning the Jiaxing factory into a well-known rigid plastic manufacturing hub at home and abroad.
